Elsa study WIP
Canon Elsa: Not sure what to say here that a movie, one short and a plethora of comics and threads hasn't already detailed, so I'll just do a short thing for her for now.
Queen, in canon and other au's. Even if she's not actually royalty you cannot remove that Queen status from her. It's in her frickin D.N.A. Also magic. Anxiety and duty hammered into her in some form or another varying on backstory of canon or au. But those things are generally there, sad to say. Also, bookworm and mathematical genius. Her skill in geometry allowed her t design and create an ice palace lit entirely by reflections of the light in the ceiling on the top floor in a matter of seconds. This Queen got brains and you need to respect and fear that.
She's also sassy as fuck. Which shows in her expressions, her words and her wardrobe. Seriously, if that ice dress wasn't flipping off the concealing clothes she was forced to wear her whole life, I don't know what was.
Also, as with all the Elsas (and Jacks tbh), she is rather insatiable with her guy. She does however, believe that there's a time and a place for it, and still retains some bashfulness and occasional derp. It would take many many years of a committed relationship with a very healthy sex life to break her of those.

Fire!Elsa: This one here is the wild one. Hot tempered, hot passions and more often than not just plain hot. DTF. Warning: The F in DTF is Fight rather than Fuck 50% of the time. Proceed at own risk.
She's still got the brains, but is more willing to cut study short because she's burned through her attention span/energy and needs to do something else. Quite artistic, though instead of drawing she prefers to craft. Glass crafting to be precise. She has many bought and self made glass sculptures in her room.
She prefers to stay active, joining in on sports, and frequently going rollerblading. She likes to keep her blood pumping. Though you may not want to be around when that coincides with her temper. Most of the time, you'll see her temper as an explosion. Reacting to something that happened right then and there, and her rebuke is instant and devastating. Sometimes she'll regret what was said or done, as her temper can cause her to go overboard at times, but she does step up and admit when she was wrong. However. When her temper is slow burning...More serious, is when you really want to run. Though you won't escape her. If her usual temper is an explosion, then her anger caused by a serious event is more like lava. Lava making it's way slowly down a hill and you're tied to a rock at the bottom. Steady and unstoppable. No loud noises as with the explosion, but so much more terrifying.
Unlike Fire!Jack, she's not afraid to get wet on occasion, but only if the water's warm. Taking a dip in the pool or at the beach? Gotta be heated first. If the water's cold she will nope out like a fucking cat. Maybe lounge in a beach chair or play some volleyball instead. Splash her at your own risk, she will piledrive your ass.
She got the sass, and will use it at every opportunity. Also makes the occasional bad pun. She just doesn't hold back.
No shame. None whatsoever. She will buy a congrats on the sex cake for herself and post the photos on FB. She is P R O U D of it. She's the type of person who would be quite happy to use her lunchbreak to sneak in a quickie with her BF in the closet, and would also, if not sated by the end of said lunchbreak, has a multitude of excuses ready to explain to her boss why she's half an hour late back....And God help Jack when they get home if he doesn't help in sating her for that extra half hour, because she is not afraid to bust out the handcuffs, tie him to the bed and make him watch while she pleasures herself in revenge.

Brunette/powerless!Elsa: Honestly she's more of the wildcard of the group. While she doesn't have the powers of her other counterparts she also didn't have the negative past experiences or the anxiety of canon!Elsa, or the temper and apparent wildness of Fire!Elsa. She grew up quite normally, whether in movie based or other aus. She seems like the heiress next door. Sweet, pretty, smart, dutiful...But when you get to know her a little better, you start to see the sides of her that the public doesn't.
She accepts her duty quite easily, focuses on her study, responsibilities and all that comes with it. But she doesn't let that rule her. That mischief is still in her, even if she doesn't show it to everyone, and she can easily make excuses to cover her tracks.
She is still serious about her responsibilities, but there's more than one kind of responsibility, and she'll prioritize them accordingly. For example, the responsibility of her loved ones, is easily more important than the responsibility of a meeting or deskwork
She also has the sass, but she doesn't broadcast it. She saves it for when it's needed. Like a secret sass agent. She's sweet and polite and innocent until you least expect it, but when she decides it's time, then you better have your will planned out because she will asSASSinate you.
You'd think that she'd be the most innocent in her love life as well. Well that's where you'd be wrong. It's the sweet and quiet ones you need to watch out for and hoo boy is that true with this girl. She's got the routine and duties in her day to day life, so she's that much wilder when she needs to cut loose. And she will cut loose the moment she knows she needs it. She will happily skip an important meeting to kidnap her stableboy lover for a raunchy morning and she will feel no regrets about it. Later she'll likely explain that she's "sorry she missed the meeting, but she had a bit of a rough morning. Spent most of her time in the bathroom." Sounds totally innocent, maybe the dinner from previous night hit her wrong, but in truth she did spend a rough morning in her bathroom, making wild love with her boyfriend. She will say it with a straight face, not an ounce of shame and no hint of a blush, and no one will be the wiser, save for said stableboy lover when her exact words make it to him during the gossip rounds and no one can understand why he's suddenly gone so beet red.

Mix of fantasy/medieval and high tech. The tech is mostly transit as far vehicles are concerned. Individuals have mounts or carts. Otherwise there's communication, tv, limited computers. That sort of thing.
Fantasy/medieval side of things is more the weapons and creatures. It's more of an older/fantasy styled atmosphere, even if buildings are a mix of both that and tech.
Kingdom mostly peaceful, save for bandits. Though underworld crime has been on the rise, and new threats are coming. Most people still see it as a time of peace.
Kingdom leaders are a council made up of the top ranking nobility. Elsa's father is on said council, and Elsa is expected to one day take his place.
Young people in kingdom all go to Big Root academy, which teaches practically everything anyone could need to learn. Students range from children to college age.
Older students stay at the academy long term, going home for special occasions and holidays or weekends.

Elsa and Jokul were friends as children, but after Jokul's parents died, he was taken away by his foster carer. They didn't communicate at all over the years, though still thought of each other often.
Elsa was brought up with the expectation of being her father's heir, while Jokul was brought up as a soldier, to be his new father's perfect dark prince. He went along with it mostly because his little sister was promised a good life, and to be kept out of Pitch's plans.
As those plans move along though, they end up back in the capitol, and Jokul is entered into Big root, where he and Elsa finally meet once again.

Sir!Jackson masterpost
Perhaps his father, the King, was traveling during the war, and fell for Jack's mother while in her village? They spent some time together, enough to fall for each other and conceive a baby, before he was called away again. They both knew they couldn't work, but still.
Once Jackson was born, his mother sent a letter to the King telling him what happened. He couldn't claim Jackson as his son, but sent her help so she would be able to manage. They made the story that she didn't have a child out of wedlock, that she'd eloped with a Knight in secret, but he'd had to go off to war before the child was born and was killed. She'd have rights and the child would be looked after. The King also sent his most trusted Knight to the village to help look after them in secret. (Probably North and Bunny c:)
Jackson grows up not knowing who his father really was, and aspired to become a knight himself, like the father he thought he once had. He goes through training as a soldier under the watch of Sir North. He only just achieves his knighthood as the war escalates.
During the war though (Probably some barbarians or something trying to take over), the King is killed by Pitch. Maybe his brother or someone who would have claim to the throne once the king was gone. He takes over, and starts to rule with an iron fist. Perhaps the barbarians that had been constantly raiding the land worked for him too, and now serve as his own personal bully force/army. However since no one could prove foul play, he goes unchallenged.
A revolution starts up. Trying to take the land back from their new tyrant. Jackson gets caught between serving his King, and serving his people. He tries to protect the people as best he can without disobeying direct orders, and he still travels with North, who now wants to find a way to prove Jackson's lineage.
I'm thinking Pitch finds out that the King had an heir, and decides to try to track the child down. So Jack eventually starts getting hunted by Pitch's Soldiers. He eventually has to go into hiding, but gets hurt at one point. North takes him to a secret village, where he knows there are healers. They can hide them from the soldiers for a time as well. The healer is probably Rapunzel, but there are other magic users there too. Most people with magic had to go into hiding many many years ago, and has been starting to fade into rumor and myth. But Jack likely befriends some in the village who decide to help him.
So Punzie is likely the magic healer. Aaaaand I want Elsa to have magic as well :D
I want Jackson and Elsa to have a special encounter of some kind. But I'm not sure yet.
Also we're going to pull a King Arthur/Stardust thing for Jackson's proof of lineage. There'll be some kind of enchanted object that will only react for the true heir.
I'm thinking that Jack's given a special sword while he's at the magic village too. Made from sky metal (Meteor or moon rock) that channels magical power. That could be the thing that reacts to him. Though I'm not sure how at this point.
I was also thinking that the magical side of the land was kept separate from the rest of it. Like, most of the people in the land fear magic due to not understanding it, so they're often treated with suspicion and are mistreated.
Also magical creatures. Because. Magical creatures.
I like the idea of the royal line having magic in their blood, but only the Heir's can use it. Like, they have to go through an Awakening to gain access to it, and only the heirs are put through that. The Kings and Queens would use their abilities to protect the kingdom, and as such, were the only magic users that the people trusted. So perhaps Jack has the potential to use magic, but just doesn't know it. And perhaps an "unoficial" Awakening could happen if he was put under enough stress that triggered his abilities.
Assassin's creed au info ROUGH IDEA
The Arendelle sister's were two of the most accomplished assassin's in the Arendelle branch of the Order. They complimented each other well. Elsa was graceful and cunning. Always had a plan. Anna was a relentless fighter with an indomitable will. Once she set her mind to something, nothing could stop her. They made the perfect team.
However. Once they were sent to Burgess to assist with the smaller branch, they were split up. The mentor saw fit to put them in different teams in order to help them settle in. They were matched with partners that complimented them, and by putting new teams together, the two branches would be able to work their different methods together, helping this branch grow.
Anna's new partner suited her well, though they got off to a bit of a rocky start, they still got along.
Elsa however, was not altogether happy with the mischievous, fun loving and seemingly irresponsible young man she was partnered with.
This was going to be a long mission.

Vampire AU Brainstorm post
OKAY. So thus far we have, Elsa is a vampire, along with Anna and Kristoff. Probably one of the more traditional kinds? They live in Victorian London. Jack's desperate for money and ends up as Elsa's servant. She'd treat him well, but have some strict rules in place in order to keep her secret. At least long enough until she can tell if he's trustworthy enough to tell. A lot of the traditional vampires had a human keeper to look after them while they slept, and take care of any of the jobs that would need to be done during the day. So once Jack's earned her trust, chances are he'd be upgraded to that.
New au idea idk I'm just writing to get it out of my head so I can sleep.
Magic is a rare but powerful thing. Usually usable by humans only after years of study, there are the extraordinarily rare few who are born with it.
Unfortunately, with magic more recently being seen as dangerous, threatening and blasphemous, that makes those who are born with these abilities outcasts. Many times arrested and imprisoned for their gifts, regardless of how they were used. More recently, people have been executed for any affiliation with magic. Whether they were born with it, or simply learned it.
Elsa was born with magic. The only one in her family to possess any affinity for the art at all. Before she could walk she could summon items she wanted to her. Before she could talk, she could understand animals, and seemingly communicate through thought alone. By the time she was old enough to understand that she shouldn't use her magic, for her and her family's safety, she had already mastered her abilities to the point that she could keep them hidden. Though she didn't do so happily. She loved her abilities.
She only showed them to her younger sister, who, though was not born with magic as Elsa was, still loved it.
It was Elsa indulging her little sister in playing with her magic, that eventually got them caught. Their parents were arrested while helping them escape. Her sister was accused of having magic as well. They had to run as far as they could.
Over the years, they had many close calls. Many times it was only Elsa lashing out at their attackers with her magic that saved them. Her fear of people started to turn to anger. She started to hate the people that cost them their happy childhood, their parents and their safety. Only Anna, ever incorruptible, kept her from becoming the threat that the kingdom thought her to be.
They planned to try to find the last remnants of the magic practitioners who'd gone into hiding. Those who cut themselves off from the kingdom to continue to practice their art in secret, safety and peace.
But they never made it that far.
During an attack where they were once again discovered, Anna was captured, and Elsa wasn't able to catch up to her. She was taken to the capitol to be imprisoned. They kept her alive only as leverage over her sister, who they knew at this point, was too powerful to push too far. They needed a way to control her, and her younger sister was it.
But without Anna, there was no one to keep her fear and anger in check. She gathered allies. Followers. Other magic users, afraid and angry at the kingdom.
They'd thrown the gauntlet by taking her family from her.
If they wanted a war, she'd give them one.

Very few are now left, as one of the first things the kingdom did when outlawing magic, was hunting down magical creatures. Dragons are now all but extinct, and dragonlords with them.

Viking AU info
Was born in a village on Glacier island, and lived eight years with her family there, before the village was set upon by pirates. They set fire to the whole village as they plundered, not knowing that the dragons of the island would take so much fire as a threat to their environment and attack.
In the panic of the fire and the pirates and the dragon attacks, Elsa was separated from her sister (parents already killed in the initial pirate attack) and the rest of the villagers. By the time the dust and smoke had settled enough for her to see, everyone had evacuated, and she was left completely alone on the island...Until, later that night, a Snow Wraith found her in the ruins of her village, and, knowing she wasn't a threat, and was in danger of dying all on her own, took her in and protected her.
Elsa grew up under the Snow Wraith's protection, using salvaged things from her old village to build a small home in the mountains, and her dragon protector as her only companion. At least until the riders from Berk showed up, and one of them realized that the behavior of the aggressive dragon was more protective than territorial, and decided to investigate further even after they retrieved the creature's tooth.

By the time the dust and smoke had settled enough for her to see, everyone had evacuated, and she was left completely alone on the island...Until, later that night, a Snow Wraith found her in the ruins of her village, and, knowing she wasn't a threat, and was in danger of dying all on her own, took her in and protected her.
Elsa grew up under the Snow Wraith's protection, using salvaged things from her old village to build a small home in the mountains, and her dragon protector as her only companion. At least until the riders from Berk showed up, and one of them realized that the behavior of the aggressive dragon was more protective than territorial, and decided to investigate further even after they retrieved the creature's tooth.

Extremely protective, but when relaxed is very laid back and can often be found snoozing somewhere. he's got a bit of a smug streak in him too, often looking quite amused and proud of himself any time he has to "fend off" Snotlout or Jack for Elsa.
He's got a huge soft spot for children though, letting them climb over him and giving them rides.

Clearly takes after his father in looks and much of his personality, with hints of his mother in there. Though not many people realize it, much of that mischief also comes from Elsa. Completely and utterly addicted to ice cream and cheese, and is still trying to convince the cooks in the palace to try to combine the two.

Jack's almost inhuman agility combined with Elsa's flawless grace has given him amazing movement. Whether it's running, walking, sliding, jumping, climbing, flipping or just a casual movement, it's almost mesmerizing to watch. Though he mostly uses it in his hyperactive freerunning, and doesn't pay attention to it in other areas of his life. It remains there nonetheless. There is not a clumsy bone in this boy's body.

Major: Physics, Cryochemistry/Cryogenics.
Age: 20
Working on: Creation and control of ice nucleus and atmosphere control. Can thus far create chemical compounds that can instantly freeze objects/create ice, and can influence how the ice will form. She can also rapidly lower area temperature by releasing aerosolized form of the same compound, and is working on controlling the severity of temperature drops.
Eventually her work is perfected with the help of her friends, and she has gloves created that help her control her ice more acutely.
Notes: Though she respects her fellow cryo student, Jackson Overland's abilities, she has trouble taking him seriously due to how he's always making fun (and trouble) everywhere he goes. She just believes that there's a time and place for fun, and while they're working on their projects, isn't that time.
...Although. If you leave her to herself long enough while she works, you might catch her humming to herself. And if you're really lucky, you might even catch her singing.
Demigod AU info
A little explanation is probably in order.
I never knew my mother. I never knew I was special. All I knew was that my sister and I shared a father, but had different mothers, and that didn't make me love her any less. I knew that the older we got, the weirder things got. And that on my fourteenth birthday, our house was attacked by monsters, and Anna and I had no choice but to run for our lives. Things only got weirder from there, and though it had seemed impossible, even more frightening.
I'll spare the details of how we were found and brought to camp. That's a whole different story altogether. And probably requires details from more points of view than mine. That wasn't my quest.
I will tell you; that a certain demigod that was on that quest took a liking to me, and barely left me alone. When they brought us back to Camp Half Blood he continued to badger me, eventually telling me that he hoped to the Gods that I wasn't claimed by his father, otherwise we wouldn't be allowed to date.
At first I almost thought it was my anger that caused the storm. But it wasn't. Once he'd made his intentions towards me clear, my mother saw fit to claim me with a blessing. One that has not yet faded, even to this day. Snow and ice swirled around me like my own personal blizzard, before settling on, and absorbing into my skin. I was more than cold to the touch. Not even the others from my newly acquired cabin could touch me. I was a snow storm with skin, and anything I touched with bare skin would freeze over.
It seemed Jack Frost's sister didn't like him putting the moves on her daughter.

After being claimed by way of curse, she gained/unlocked an advanced Cryokinesis, that she is unable to control completely.
- An advanced effect of her Cryokineses, if her anger or fear reaches it's peak, she can create a cold blast with similar force to a small scale nuclear blast. She exercises extreme control of her emotions to prevent this.
Things of note: Because she can't make direct physical contact with anyone without harming them, she wears completely concealing clothes all the time. She wears a hooded jacket over her Camp Half Blood t-shirt, with fold away gloves in the sleeves. She never wears skirts or shorts, instead wearing jeans or thick trousers. She only ever takes her jacket and gloves off to fight monsters, when she ices over her daggers, and any direct contact with her skin harms the enemy she's fighting.
Her eyes turn white when she gets extremely angry.

She asked their parents friend if she could work for them.
Tara though, ran a, slightly questionable business. Though legal and registered. Moon Haven was looked down upon by many, and celebrated by many others. Though for the most part it was a place where people could go for dinner and a show, the entertainers would sing and dance and perform shows and stories for them, the entertainers were also courtesans. They could be requested for, other acts as well, in their private quarters.
Elsa was underage though. Though Tara agreed to let her work for her, it was only as a performer. She had the voice of an angel, and the face of one too. She was only allowed to perform on stage. Sing, dance, and perform in the shows.
That did not stop men from requesting her though. They were denied, again and again. Tara made it clear each time that she was not a registered courtesan, only a performer.
As bills started piling up though, Elsa knew that she needed to bring in more money. She couldn't rely on Tara to pay for their bills and debts just because they were friends. On her eighteenth birthday, she asked to become a registered courtesan as well, to earn the extra money she needed.
